U.S. Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who is eager to grow into a managerial role while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. • Prepare income tax returns using UltraTax software
• Manage and document the full lifecycle of income tax preparation
• Monitor workload to meet billable expectations, maintain budgets, and provide regular updates to management
• Communicate with government agencies to resolve tax issues
• Analyze client data for potential tax savings and advisory opportunities
• Research complex tax issues using AI-powered tools such as BlueJ
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding the status of returns and strategic opportunities
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to grow into a managerial role

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with U.S. Taxation
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with UltraTax software
• Strong research skills using AI-powered tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
• Familiarity with communication platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Slack
• Experience using AI chatbots such as ChatGPT
• Knowledge of task management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately
• Highly self-motivated, accurate, and reliable
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent virtual and in-person client interaction skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• CPA certification
• Master of Taxation is preferred
• Working knowledge of BlueJ
• Master’s degree in Taxation
